The site for this 98,000 square foot, design-build, 4-story building was assembled from nine different ownership entities into a 4-acre parcel in the middle of a downtown redevelopment zone. The project has since attracted more development to the area, including several civic spaces and a multi-modal regional transportation center. The building serves as the Agency’s headquarters and command center to support firefighting operations for the southwest United States. Capable of withstanding a 48-hour power outage, the 24/7 operation has many unique features: - Redundant systems - Research laboratories - 300 seat conference center - Rooftop plaza and lunch patio - Full-Service Deli Restaurant - Stone flooring | Secure parking - Exterior surveillance - Security vault - Underground storage - 30’ column spacing |
